Get Dejoured.

I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my ass. And I’m really happy about it.

Dejour Jeans offer custom tailored, colorful, quality jeans for 50 bucks. And there’s only one place in the world you can get ’em – Brunswick, VIC – Australia, just outside of Melbourne.

I’d heard about this place from a friend and decided to check it out for myself. I’m so glad I did. You could pass right by it if you’re not careful. It’s the kind of place where if you didn’t know what it was, you might think it’s a discount mart type shop that sells jeans, old VHS players and makeup that looks gently used. In my opinion, that’s what makes it so awesome.

Dejour is a factory direct store – all of the jeans come from their factory nearby and are only sold in their store. Once you pick out the jeans you wanna try on you head to the back room. That’s where the good stuff goes down. Throw your first pair on and immediately one of the girls will come up and either tell you you need a different size or start marking you up with chalk.

I went to Dejour on my last day in the city so they tailored all three pairs of jeans within an hour and a half for me. All of the jeans are tailored right then and there in the back room where you get fitted.

When you come back to pick up the jeans and try on each pair, they are still hot from the sewing machine and they feel incredible. Also, if you buy a pair of jeans and they stretch out too much you can bring them back anytime to get them re-adjusted.

So go to Melbourne and go get yourself Dejoured.

Bondi Beach – Sydney, NSW, Australia

Bondi Beach is what all beaches should be like: sea blue water, waves, people in colorful bathing suits with super bright umbrellas, towels scattered everywhere, clear blue skies, soft sand, 80 degree weather, popsicles, seafood (and the accents don’t hurt either). It is the beach of all beaches.

Go to Sydney..go to Bondi Beach…listen to The Beach Boys…get a popsicle or some shaved ice and end your day with some fresh oysters from one of the many seafood restaurants. I tried Seafood Bar Bondi and it was amazing.

Fresh oysters with a cold beer and a bit of lemon & hot sauce, what could be better?

But after 30 seconds they were all gone.

Non-Overrated Tourist Attractions – Sydney Opera House

Another non-overrated tourist attraction in my opinion is the Sydney Opera House. The Opera House had always been very intriguing to me, partly because it looked so interesting architecturally but also because it was on the other side of the world and I’d always wanted to go. When I finally got the chance to go it wasn’t a let down at all. I didn’t see a show but sitting at the restaurant beside it was enough. My friend and I were drinking the cheapest beers on tap and we still felt classy. This is a tourist attraction that you can enjoy from many angles. There is no waiting in line to see it, it takes no time to get there because most of the trains stop there and you can drink while visiting..which is always a plus.
